![]() ![]() I left my wife in the car and went to check into the hotel. The first thing I noticed was that they had eliminated valet parking. I had not been at this property in seven years. I had booked a room for two nights at this resort. I arrived at this casino after a 2 1/2 hour drive in my Mini Cooper. We ate the majority of our meals in the fire keeper's restaurant. I would've bought some tickets and went to the show. It seemed funny that the show room was dark on Labor Day weekend. Not the kind of place you would like to spend a lot of time in. The slots in the casino were very tight and the smoke levels were extremely heavy. The walls were like paper and you could hear everything that went on in the room next to you. The room had worn-out mattresses that sagged in the middle and carpeting that need to be replaced. I had a room with two queen beds on the third floor of the new tower. Then magically 2 more desk clerks showed up and finally got this mob of people checked into the hotel. I finally spoke out and said let's get this line moving and get these people checked in. I stood there for around 15 minutes and nothing happened. ![]() We had a large group of people trying to check in. ![]()
